These terms cover your use of smartgensis.com. They do not cover work we do for clients — that is governed by a signed agreement, which always takes precedence over this page.
Using the site
Read it, share it, link to it — all welcome. Please do not try to break it, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or use the contact form to send us marketing.
Found a security issue? Email umair.amir@smartgensis.com before disclosing it publicly. We will respond, and we will not pursue anyone reporting something in good faith.
Our content
The writing, design and code here are ours unless credited otherwise. Quote our articles with attribution and a link — just do not republish them wholesale or present them as your own. Some photography is licensed from third parties and is not ours to pass on. The SmartGensis name and mark may not be used to imply we endorse or partner with you.
What this site isn't
Our articles and service pages are general information about how we approach engineering problems. They are not advice for your specific situation, and reading them or sending us an enquiry does not make us your engineers. We keep the site accurate but cannot promise it is error-free or always available.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
