Privacy Policy
Short version: we only hold what you send us through the contact form, and only to reply to you.

SmartGensis runs this website. This page explains what we do with personal data collected through it. Work we do under a client contract is covered by that contract instead.
What we collect
Only what you type into our contact form: your name, company, email address, the type of project, and your message. We also record the IP address and browser the form was submitted from, which we use to block spam — nothing else.
There are no accounts, no newsletter, and no tracking pixels. If you never use the form, we hold nothing about you.
Why we hold it
To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models — including our own.
Who else sees it
Three services help us run the site, and each only gets what it needs: Vercel hosts it, Hostinger delivers your enquiry to our mailbox, and Unsplash serves some images (which means your IP is visible to them, as with any image loaded from another site). Because we work across the US and the GCC, data may be processed outside your country.
Cookies
We do not set any. Our analytics counts visits without cookies and cannot identify you, which is why there is no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to. If that changes, we will ask first.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry stays in our email while we are talking, and for up to two years after, in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can also object to us holding it at all. Email umair.amir@smartgensis.com and we will action it within 30 days, free. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above it.
